I have so many pictures to post. So many. I just took some fantastically pretty and girly and adorable photos today, reminiscent of this set, but these are long overdue. When I was in San Diego, Angela and I had ourselves an amazingly enjoyable tea party, it really surprised me! We were so happy with our tea room experience over at The Huntington's rose garden tea room that we prepared our own meal of finger sandwiches, rose cupcakes, and so on. Pictures that I took of arisugawajuri's belongings while she was attending a class, during my first day in Southern California. I'm not a creeper. I promise. Surround me in darling ornaments and decorations with a new lens and an external flash and I can't help but go to town.

Amanda makes my job as a photographer very easy. What's that? You're off to work? Just one picture! Up the contrast and saturation and voilà. Despite the suffocatingly hot weather I insist on taking more pictures of her today.

So. Many. Photographs. After a few weeks spent neglecting my computer, sitting in front of it for so long while editing pictures is making me loopy. Back to cleaning/rearranging for now.

I will spend the new few months paying off a new 55-200mm lens; the 18-55mm is still usable, however, I don't want to damage my D50 with a lens that can't hang on to the mouth. The new lens will take quite a bit of time to get used to; it's considerably slow on autofocus, and I foresee manual settings taking over from here on out.
